So what’s this all about?

Welcome to JennyScript! I’m starting this blog as a place to share my thoughts and experiments in the wonderful world of Web Development. Everyday I enjoy using the wealth of knowledge out on the web in other people’s blogs. It’s time to give back!

Here’s a quick run-down of what I plan on posting about here:

  • JavaScript/Ajax - My Main love! I was writing JavaScript before it was cool. Anyone else remember doing “AJAX-y” things with hidden frames?
  • HTML and CSS - The backbone of anything you plan on writing for the web.
  • Design - This is my weak spot. I’m much more of a programmer than a designer. I do like to experiment with new design techniques in the hopes that some day my skills will improve.
  • Server-side programming - I have a strong preference for working on client-side development, but you can’t do much there without a back-end! Mostly, I write Python.
